This session was done a few days after their wedding, most people call them “Day After Wedding Photography” ..I would say it’s more like a styled photoshoot. I remember I got so excited to do these pictures mostly because I wanted for them to shine in front of the camera. On their wedding day, the timeline did not allow much time for more creative, romantic images, so the day after session was perfect for them!!
This has to be one of my favorite of their session!! Hope to post more images from this gallery soon!

Hi! I’m Rubidia C Argueta. I was born in El Salvador, in a small town called San Vicente and came to Oakland when I was 11 years old. I’ve been known to be the family photographer since I was a teenager, my mother gave me my first film camera and the rest is history. I took a few photo classes when I was in high school, but never in a million years did I imagine that my little hobby would turn into what is is now, my passion to capture a moment in time. I fell in love with wedding photography in 2009 or so after a friend of mine asked me to photograph a wedding with her, as a second shooter. The experience was so regarding, that it was after that moment that I decided to specialize in weddings only. The value that these images hold was priceless and I knew that I wanted to be part of that legacy for all of my couples. I feel so blessed to travel, meet new people and make friendships along the way. I love what I do and hope you give me an opportunity to capture one of your happiest day!
I currently live in Oakland and serve the greater Bay Area. When I’m not away taking pictures, you’ll find me at the gym, hiking, crafting, painting (acrylics), at an A’s game or spending time with my loved ones. I love Asian food but my guilty pleasure is Pupusas, El Salvador’s traditional dish. I recommend El Platano Cafe in Berkeley!! Nom Nom!! I’m not much of a tv watcher, but I occasionally binge watch shows like… Friends, The Office or Parks & Rec and many more!
